The Skiing Area Cortina d'Ampezzo Dolomites offers 85 km of slopes that range from a top height of 2932 mt down to 1050 mt above sea level. Home to Winter sports and first Italian mountain resort to host the Olympic Winter Games in 1956, Cortina is an endless source of enjoyable experiences . Ski area Tofana, where the Ski World Cup usually takes place - Ski area Lagazuoi 5 torri, from where you can admire the Marmolada, the Sella group, the Civetta, the Pelmo and the Tofane - Ski area Faloria Cristallo. The Mietres ski-area is specially adapted to children.

The February 1st 2021 at the Olympic Stadium take part in the Official opening ceremony of the Alpine World Ski Championships. For two weeks, Sunday to Sunday, almost one thousand athletes are ready to compete on “White Vertigo” and “Olympia”, the ski runs that made the history of skiing.


Cortina has three areas:

  • Faloria - Cristallo
  • Tofana
  • Lagazuoi - 5 - Torri - Giau - Cortina Delicious

The areas are connected by a free of charge ski bus and offer 85 km of slopes with 95% snow making facilities ensuring perfect snow conditions throughout the season. Cortina d'Ampezzo is part of Dolomiti Superski, one of the world’s largest ski circuits with 1,200 km ( 745 miles) of slopes across 12 ski regions, accessed with a single ski-pass.
